Everyone of us has a dream in life – to be somebody or to achieve a certain goal. The undersigned had a dream too. My own dream , which was to put Goan Cuisine on a sound pedestal it much deserved.
Having worked as an Executive Chef of highly reputed Hotel and Resort properties in different Continents of the world , it was my belief that Goan cuisine had an unique flavour, unlike any that I had tasted, all over, during my many years in the Industry. The powers that be, noting that Tourism was an Industry, that would bring in the much needed revenue, promoted only our Beaches , Temples , Churches, Waterfalls, etc. conveniently or rather ashamedly as it may seem, forgot to highlight one of our greatest social and cultural strength, that is the unique quality of our food. Much remained to be done towards promoting this strength of ours in both styles -- Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian.

Towards this end, and with an extended arm of support from my wife Margarida, was born CHEF FERNANDO’S NOSTALGIA, on the 20th of January 2000.We then believed, and are now proved right, that the two of us together, would set up a restaurant, by our little home in Raia, catering only Goan delicacies, of the days, Grandpa fancied Grandma.!
At our little boutique, adorned with large variety of culinary artifacts, of the days of yore, we have only one aim. That is, to be the best of them all, in Goa. –In portioning and the quality, hygiene and service, atmosphere and surroundings, and we are happy today, to have been quite successful in our goal, though, after enduring innumerable sleepless nights.

Our clientele base today, besides being the “Who’s Who”, are the locals, who swear by our quality and are astounded by our range. In fact they are the test of our trade, and we are very thankful to them, since due to their positive comments, and patronal support, we have been able to achieve this success, that we so proudly call NOSTALGIA.
Our A la Carte menu, which is a unique piece of Artifact itself, offers to the discerning foodie, a range of 96 culinary experiences on a daily basis. Along with the above we have a selection of over 200 dishes, which we offer for parties and wedding caterings.

We selectively cater to about 25/30 weddings per year in Goa . Our themes are varied and our set ups just mind boggling. We promote only Goan cuisine, in Appetisers, Salads ,Soups, Main course, Desserts, pickles, and Breads.We try to cook it, exactly the way our folks did in the good old days, and sans any taste enhancing additives.Our Theme is MAMA’S STYLE GOAN CUISINE and our Concept is FAMILY WELLBEING.
